Jamie Hutchens is an innovator and leader in today’s business world. As a Partner and Shareholder in the Conrad Organisation, Jamie works to expand the company’s real estate in residential, retail, and commercial interests nationally and internationally. Jamie develops and oversees the big picture of each Conrad development, including deal evaluation, pre-development planning, financing, design, construction, sales and marketing. His 20 years’ experience in real estate development and inherent business sense add a level of detail and depth to Conrad Properties and the Group Entities under his management.

Ben Dearlove
Shareholder, Partner
NZCQS and Bachelor of Quantity Surveying
Ben joined Conrad in 2003 and brought with him a wealth of construction and property experience. Prior to joining Conrad, Ben spent seven years at Mainzeal Construction, which was New Zealand’s second largest construction company, and four years gaining construction experience in Canada and England.
Ben manages the delivery of Conrad Group developments from inception to completion.

Ben joined Conrad in 2003 and brought with him a wealth of construction and property experience. Dennis has remained to oversee the strategic, regulatory and compliance side of the business ensuring that the team operate within such framework.

For the past twenty one years Craig has been the chief financial officer for multiple property development projects in Auckland, Wellington, Rotorua and Queenstown.
Craig brings with him a wealth of experience to Conrad as a chartered accountant who has worked in a variety of accounting and management roles.

Dean Budd
Sales Director
Bachelor of Business Majoring in Finance and Management
Dean Budd joined Conrad from Bayleys in 2025, having specialised in commercial sales and leasing in prior roles. Dean’s background in elite-level international sport contributed to his professionalism and drive in the business world. Leveraging his leadership skills and global perspective gained from living and working internationally
In his role at Conrad he heads up Sales for the group, including Domestic & International agency and distribution networks, alongside management of internal sales staff and processes. On new projects, his involvement spans land acquisition, concept and design, marketing, sell-down, and settlements.
On the Group property portfolio Dean is also responsible for Commercial Leasing and Asset Management in addition to sourcing and securing new Investment properties.

Euan Whitaker
Senior Development Manager
Batchelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering
20 years Construction experience in UK and NZ in varying roles through design development to construction delivery.
With both design consultant and main contractor experience, Euan brings a wealth of construction experience to the team. Euan’s role is to ensure the planning, design and construction phases of each development progress smoothly, on time, to budget and to the expectations of our clients.
Out of work Euan enjoys playing football every week, watching sport and spending time with his young family.

Melissa Popham

Melissa joined Conrad Properties in 2007 as Development Assistant to the Construction team. Melissa then went on to spend three years living in London where she worked at Jones Lang LaSalle with the City Leasing team. Returning to New Zealand she has worked her way up to become a Development Manager, a varied role which has Melissa busy managing projects for the company, including residential and commercial. Alongside this she looks after the property management side of the business, looking after tenants, new leases and building maintenance. Melissa’s work experience and her vast company knowledge gives her the attributes that she needs to succeed in this busy role.

He will oversee energy management, technology, and global partnerships, and the execution of large-scale AI energy solutions across New Zealand. His role is pivotal in delivering cost-efficient, secure, and sustainable power solutions for the world’s leading AI companies, positioning New Zealand as a premier destination for AI-driven innovation.

Mark over time has transitioned into the hydrogen development team where he partners up with our technical specialist team of hydrologists, geologists, volcanologists and other key specialists to deliver company objectives.

Na joined the Conrad Group in 2016 and has partnered up with Katrina to head up the business development side of the company. Earlier in Conrad, Na’s role was centred around training and the Conrad Internship programme. Now, Na has transitioned into the Conrad Hydrogen development team where she specialises in the Chinese market and is trained to work alongside the technical services team to translate and outline business opportunities.
